The purpose of the erosion project is to control erosion and sediment delivery into Clear Creek and its tributaries. Objectives include the following: Decrease sedimentation of streams by treating the highest priority sediment sources within the watershed on private land and benefit fish and wildlife species by improving water quality and aquatic habitats.

The purpose of the fuels management project is to reduce the potential for catastrophic fire in the watershed. Objectives include the following: Treat areas of high fire hazard; maintain habitat for fish and wildlife species, as well as provide protection to existing habitat from the threat of catastrophic fire ; provide protection to residents in the area (property and life); and reduce the likelihood of severe sedimentation which could result if a catastrophic fire were to occur.
