Ross joined the WSRCD team in September of 2015 and has enjoyed the diverse array of projects he works on and the opportunity to leave a positive mark on Shasta County. Ross has been instrumental in the District's fisheries restoration and fuels reduction programs. Additionally, he manages the District's GIS program. He previously worked on water quality monitoring and riparian habitat enhancement projects on the Shasta River for the Shasta Valley RCD and worked for many years as a whitewater raft guide in the Lower Klamath Watershed. Ross holds a degree from CSU Chico in Music with a focus in jazz drumming.
